The Latin Licensure program at Wright State is a partnership between the Department of Classical Languages and Cultures, and the College of Education and Human Services. It can be completed in five years. Students earn a B.A. in Latin and then enroll in the Master of Education program for World Languages. At the end of the undergraduate portion of the program, students must demonstrate proficiency by taking the Praxis II content exam in Latin, and passing an oral interview. Upon completion of the M. Ed. degree, students earn a State of Ohio teaching license in Muti-Age Language Education with a specialty in Latin.
