MTH 3450 - Geometry for Middle School Teachers Credit Hour(s): 3 Two- and three-dimensional Euclidean geometry from a perspective appropriate for grade 4-10 teachers. Compass constructions, triangle congruence, postulates, Pythagorean Theorem, and proofs. Surface area and volume. Coordinate geometry applied to proofs and transformations. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 2450 Minimum Grade of C Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: CT: Middle Childhood - PRE, Mathematics - BA, Mathematics - BS, Middle Childhood Ed - BSED.
