NUR 4890 - Application of Leadership and Management Concepts to Nursing Process

Theories and strategies of leadership and management for the practice of professional nursing. Safety and quality improvement initiatives and improving quality patient outcomes. Leadership concepts, skills, and decision-making in nursing care, team coordination, and participation in evidence-based improvement/change projects. Fieldwork required.
