MTH 4460 - Problem Solving and Mathematical Modeling for Middle School Teachers Credit Hour(s): 4 Learning to think quantitatively through solving pure and applied mathematics problems and modeling real world problems. Focuses on working with the steps involved in modeling real-life situations and understanding how modeling and problem solving differ. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 2450 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level MTH 3430 Minimum Grade of C Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: CT: Middle Childhood - PRE, Mathematics - BA, Mathematics - BS, Middle Childhood Ed - BSED.
