EC 6440 - Problems in Economic Development

This course explores the problems of economic development in the third world and in economies in transition from socialism. Topics include hunger, unemployment, environmental degradation, privatization, gender, and ethnicity.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level EC 5210 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level EC 5220 Minimum Grade of C
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
