NUR 7421 - Adult Gerontology I

This clinical course provides students the opportunity to examine and apply CNS theory to practice and enables students to develop strategies to overcome barriers to safe, quality healthcare delivery. Students acquire knowledge and skills characteristic of CNS practice as it relates to clinical judgment, facilitation of learning, advocacy, moral agency, caring practice and response to diversity.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level NUR 7001 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7003 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7005 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7102 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7103 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7104 Minimum Grade of C
Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following Colleges: College of Nursing & Health.
