MTH 3480 - Concepts in Calculus for Middle School Teachers Credit Hour(s): 3 Explores the big ideas in calculus – limit, derivative, and integral – with the goal of a solid conceptual understanding. Emphasizes applications, connections to algebra, and how these concepts appear in middle school math classrooms. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 2450 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level MTH 3430 Minimum Grade of C Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: CT: Middle Childhood - PRE, Mathematics - BA, Mathematics - BS, Middle Childhood Ed - BSED.
