STT 5700 - Introduction to Statistical Inference


Credit Hour(s): 3

Course Description: A calculus-based introduction to probability and statistical inference. Topics include probability, random variables, probability distributions (discrete and continuous), joint probability distributions (discrete), statistical inference (both estimation and hypothesis testing), confidence intervals for parameters, analysis of variance, and regression.  

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
