PPH 2400 - Peer Education and Advocacy Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description:
In this course students will develop and practice skills to serve as a peer educator and advocate. The students will discuss the roles, responsibilities, and professional ethics of peer educators. This course emphasizes fostering a positive environment, communication skills, goal setting, intervention techniques, advocacy, and referral skills for peer leaders.
