BUS 2200 - Introduction to Defense Acquisition

This course provides a broad overview of the Department of Defense (DoD) systems acquisition process, covering all phases of acquisitions. It introduces the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS); the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process; DoD 5000 - series policy and procedures documents; and current issues in systems acquisition management. This course is designed for individuals who have little or no experience in DoD acquisition management and who are interested in learning more about how the U.S. government operates and manages its business functions.
