CNL 7320 - Social Justice Action in Counseling Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Examines oppressive practices within clinical mental health and school counseling settings, and presents evidence-based culturally sensitive interventions and prevention strategies based on public health principles including current applications of the Counselor-Advocate-Scholar Model in diverse practice settings.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level CNL 7290 Minimum Grade of B and Graduate level CNL 7310 Minimum Grade of B
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Culturally Informed Couns-Cert.
