MTH 2210 - Applied Linear Algebra Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: The course demonstrates the power of linear algebra in the technological solutions to 21st century data-focused applications. Students will learn linear algebra concepts and techniques and their software implementations. Sample applications include computer animation, Google page rank, and image compression. Linear algebra topics will include: systems of linear equations, vectors, matrices, bases, coordinate systems, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors. The software implementations will be taught using a Python based language.
Prerequisite(s): WSU Math Placement Level 40 or Undergraduate level MTH 1280 Minimum Grade of D
