SOC 6650 - Global Sexualities & Human Rights Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Survey of current issues in sexuality and social justice from a global perspective, with emphasis on developing students’ capacity to assess and address sexual social justice concerns through human rights regimes. Consideration of practices, conditions, and identities such as sexual tourism and work, polygamy and polyamory, same-sex loving and transgender persons, surrogacy, body modifications, and HIV/AIDS.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
