EE 6550 - IC Hardware Security and Trust Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Students learn to analyze hardware security/trust and be able to implement various countermeasures to improve trust for hardware IC systems. Topics include IC design flow/lifecycle, trust issues at each stage of the IC lifecycle, attack methodologies that threaten HW IC systems, countermeasures to improve trust for HW IC systems, improving Trust for both ASIC and FPGA based systems. Department Managed Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level EE 2000/L Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level EE 4540/L Minimum Grade of D or similar digital circuit design
Corequisite(s): EE6550L
