SOC 2700 - Introduction to Criminal Justice in Society Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Overview of the essential functions, processes, and structure of key agencies responsible for the administration of justice in the U.S. (police, courts, and corrections), as well as those of the criminal justice system as a whole. Consideration of how the system affects, and is affected by, vectors of social inequality (e.g. age, race, class, gender).
