Course Description: Overview of dance as an art form and as entertainment. Exploration of styles, theories, and social and historical contexts of dance as a vital art in the world. Topics include a study of various dance genres, pop culture’s influence on dance, reality television dance influences, and the life of a professional dancer and choreographer.
