BME 4450 - Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Principles and underlying strategies for employing selected cells, biomaterial scaffolds, soluble regulators or their genes, and mechanical loading and culture conditions, for the regeneration of tissues and organs. Methods for fabricating tissue-engineered products and devices under development and currently in clinical use.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level BME 4440 Minimum Grade of D and (Undergraduate level ANT 2120 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level ANT 3120 Minimum Grade of D)
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Biomedical Engineering - BSBE. Must be enrolled in one of the following colleges: College of Egr & Computer Sci.
