PPH 7530 - Health Systems Communication

Course Description: The course introduces principles and practices of communication in health systems settings. Students develop knowledge in communication styles, interpersonal relations, conflict management, grant writing, consensus building, conducting meetings, correspondence, and community communications with the media, interviews, and risk communication. Case studies are used from healthcare and other sectors. The course is presented by an interdisciplinary team of faculty and community leaders.
