NUR 7550 - Health Promotion and Management of Pediatric Minor Illnesses and Injuries Credit Hour(s): 6
Course Description: Application of advanced practice nursing skills integrating theory, research findings, and differential diagnoses in the provision of primary and minor acute care for children/adolescents in families. Clinical learning will incorporate use of case management and multi-disciplinary collaboration with consideration of physical, social, and psychological factors.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level NUR 7102 Minimum Grade of C and (Graduate level NUR 7103 Minimum Grade of C or Graduate level NUR 7123 Minimum Grade of C) and (Graduate level NUR 7104 Minimum Grade of C or Graduate level NUR 7124 Minimum Grade of C)
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Nursing - MS, Post Masters PNP-Primary-Cert.
