NUR 7551 - Chronic Care for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Credit Hour(s): 6
Course Description: Application of theoretical frameworks and research findings for health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, and health restoration for children and adolescents. The clinical practicum will focus on advanced nursing care, incorporating multi-disciplinary collaboration for the delivery of comprehensive health care in various care settings. Emphasis is on management of pediatric chronic conditions.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level NUR 7550 Minimum Grade of C
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Nursing - MS, Post Masters PNP-Primary-Cert.
