REL 5430 - Buddhism Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Exploration of Buddhism in terms of its philosophy, rituals, art, architecture, and social practices, with particular emphasis on its origins in South Asia and its spread to the regions of Southeast Asia and Tibet. Study of how to read and critically analyze Buddhist texts and think about Buddhism in historic and anthropological terms.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
