PSY 2830 - Chemical Dependency

Course Description: Use, misuse, and dependency of psychoactive chemicals/drugs. Review of history and theory regarding the study of dependency, particularly as it relates to current practices in treatment, the nature of the addiction process, recovery, and prevention. Screening, diagnosing, assessment, and the referral process.

Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level PSY 1010 Minimum Grade of D
