PSI 8070 - Clinical Neuropsychology Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: The course is intended to provide individuals with a broad understanding of the field of human neuropsychology and the study of brain-behavior relationships within a clinical context. The course will introduce students to models of higher cortical functioning, education and training issues within the field, behavioral neuroanatomy, and issues of normal and abnormal cognitive functioning. While the areas of assessment and intervention will be discussed, neuropsychological assessment strategies will be covered in greater detail in the neuropsychological assessment course.
Enrollment Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following levels: Undergraduate. Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Clinical Psychology - PSYD, Clinical Psychology - PSYM.
