NUR 7301 - Strategic Leadership and Planning for Nursing and Health Care Systems Credit Hour(s): 6
Course Description: This course introduces students to concepts, principles, and practices of strategic management in nursing/health care settings. This course focuses on the managerial function of planning and developing leadership skills. The strategic planning process uses a systems framework to create a long term focus for nursing and health care systems. Clinical practicum experiences allow students to have chances that reinforce classroom learning to the practical environment in healthcare settings.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level NUR 7302 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7305 Minimum Grade of C
