MTH 7160 - Numerical Linear Algebra


Credit Hour(s): 4

Course Description: Fundamentals of matrix theory, singular value decomposition, QR factorization and least squares problems, direct and iterative methods for solving linear systems, conditioning and stability, numerical methods for eigenvalues and eigenvectors computations.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate level MTH 6550 Minimum Grade of D

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
