MTH 4260 - Matrix Computations

Course Description: Numerical linear algebra survey using high-level computing tools. Topics include linear equations, matrix factorizations, eigenvalue problems, least squares, applications of singular value decompositions, and iterative methods for large sparse matrices. Emphasizes conditioning of problems and accuracy and stability of algorithms.
