MTE 6460 - Problem Solving and Mathematical Modeling for Middle School Teachers Credit Hour(s): 4
Course Description: Learning to think about the world quantitatively through experiencing solving pure and applied mathematics problems and modeling real world problems individually and in groups. Focuses on working with the steps involved in modeling real-life situations and understanding how modeling and problem solving differ.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 1280 Minimum Grade of C or WSU Math Placement 05 or Graduate level MTE 6480 Minimum Grade of C
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following degrees: Master of Education, Master of Sci in Teaching.
