MGT 7710 - Fundamentals of Project Management


Credit Hour(s): 3

Course Description: An introduction to the management of projects, to include project selection, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and control. Reviews the ‘triple constraint’ of project management: cost, schedule, and technical performance. Covers typical project life cycles, risk management, earned value management, characteristics of successful project managers, and the structure and dynamics of winning project teams.

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following colleges: Raj Soin College of Business.
