ME 4010 - Computational Methods for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Serves as an introductory-level course in computational fluid dynamics applied to the designs of mechanical systems using numerical methods. The examples illustrated will cover areas in the designs of mechanical aerodynamic and chemical transport processes, such as manufacturing, energy systems, turbomachinery, cooling of electronic equipment, power cycles, engines, heat exchangers, hydraulics and pneumatics and fire and explosion protection systems.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level ME 3360 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level ME 3210 Minimum Grade of D
Enrollment Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following degrees: Intending Egr & CS, Pre_Degree. Must be enrolled in one of the following colleges: College of Egr & Computer Sci.
