FR 6930 - Americanization of French Film

Course Description: This course will examine the Americanization of selected French language films as a powerful tool for cross-cultural comparison. Film pairs analyzed will include Breathless and À Bout de souffle, Les Visiteurs and Just Visiting, La Femme infidèle and Unfaithful,etc. Taught in French. Department Managed Prerequisite(s): Graduate level FR 5210 Minimum Grade of D or Graduate level FR 5220 Minimum Grade of D
