EES 6220 - Introduction to Geophysics

Course Description: In Introduction to Geophysics students learn the methods and concepts of practical exploration geophysics. We deal with the five main methods of exploration: seismic refraction, seismic reflection, gravity methods, electrical methods, and magnetic methods. The lectures are put into practice during Saturday field work in the vicinity of the campus to characterize the near surface.

Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
