Course Description: This course explores the problems of economic development in the third world and in economies in transition from socialism. Topics include hunger, unemployment, environmental degradation, privatization, gender, and ethnicity.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level EC 5210 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level EC 5220 Minimum Grade of C
