CS 4260 - Matrix Computations Credit Hour(s): 3
Course Description: Numerical linear algebra survey using high-level computing tools. Topics include linear equations, matrix factorizations, eigenvalue problems, least squares, applications of singular value decompositions, and iterative methods for large sparse matrices. Conditioning of problems and accuracy and stability of algorithms are emphasized.
Enrollment Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following degrees: Intending Egr & CS, Pre_Degree. Must be enrolled in one of the following colleges: College of Egr & Computer Sci.
