Course Description: Basics of digital computer hardware and design. Topics include switching algebra and switching functions, logic design of combinational and sequential circuits, storage elements, register-level design, and instrumentation. Integrated Writing course.

Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level CS 1180 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level CS 1160 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level CEG 2170 Minimum Grade of D) and (Undergraduate level MTH 1280 Minimum Grade of D or WSU Math Placement Level 40)
