BIO 4060 - Evolutionary Biology


Credit Hour(s): 3

Course Description: Critically examines modern evolutionary research, with focus on recent theoretical and empirical developments. Topics include speciation and species definitions, phylogeography, phylogenetic biology, molecular evolution, adaptation and natural selection, and sexual selection. Integrated Writing course.

Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level BIO 2110 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level BIO 2310 Minimum Grade of C

Enrollment Restrictions: May not be enrolled as the following classifications: Freshman, Sophomore.
