BIO 1060 - Global Ecology and Diversity Credit Hour(s): 4
Course Description: Introduces non-science majors to global ecosystems, the biological principles and processes that have contributed to the diversity of species and natural processes and human actions that work together to shape the ecological balance of the earth. Laboratory topics include speciation, macroevolution, adaptive radiation, symbiosis, biogeography, and the scientific management of modern biological resources. Three hours lecture, two hours lab.
