ATR 2610 - Introduction to Allied Health Care Professions

Course Description: History of health care delivery systems, current systems, services, trends and challenges, health care careers, and ethical and legal responsibilities. Foundational concepts of patient care including human growth and development, basic human needs, patient rights and responsibilities, provider and patient safety, communication skills, and computer literacy. Professionalism and securing and maintaining employment.
