CNL 7320 - Social Justice Action in Counseling



Credit Hour(s): 3
Examines oppressive practices within clinical mental health and school counseling settings, and presents evidence-based culturally sensitive interventions and prevention strategies based on public health principles including current applications of the Counselor-Advocate-Scholar Model in diverse practice settings.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level CNL 7290 Multicultural Counseling Minimum Grade of B and Graduate level CNL 7310 Anti-Oppressive Practice in Counseling Minimum Grade of B
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional. Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: Culturally Informed Certificate.
