PN 7050 - Human Physiology



Credit Hour(s): 4
This course is a survey of the physiology of the major physiological systems in the body, including units on the endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, and reproductive systems, along with blood cells and skeletal muscle. The nervous system will be examined in more detail during the Neuroscience and Physiology course offered in the Spring Semester. The general focus will be how specific cell types contribute to the function of each organ system. This introduction to the major physiological concepts and principles will provide you the means to relate any topic of interest to the overall functioning of the human body.
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate, Medical, Professional.
