ED 4060 - Reading and Literacy I: Background and Foundations

Introduction to the content knowledge of the structure of literacy and reading/writing instruction. Candidates explore instructional strategies for reading and writing and the theory that supports scientifically based instruction.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level ED 2700 Minimum Grade of D
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: Intervention Specialist - BSED, Intervention Specialist - BSED, Middle Childhood Ed - BSED, Middle Childhood Ed - BSED.
